Tandy is sponsoring Jim Linnell's Swivlel Knife Finessee Workshop on Saturday, September 14th.  The workshop is free, but you must pre register and the class size is limited to 30 students due to the room limitations.  Currently 15 registered.
All classes have at least 3 seats available at this time.
The show will be SEPTEMBER 11-15, 2019 at the RENAISSANCE HOTEL St. Louis, Missouri. View and Print the 2019 Show Registration Form
The Room rates are the same as 2010 at $110 per night.  Free Parking and WiFi is included.  Click the link to: Book your group rate for Gateway Leather Guild.
The hotel is very close to the airport.  Has a free shuttle from the airport and has a metrolink point right across the street to travel around St. Louis.  There is a restaurant onsite and many restaurants and shopping areas close by.
The hotel has guaranteed these room rates until August 20th then any unreserved rooms will go back to the hotel and this rate will not be available.  We encourage you to support our guild by staying at the conference site hotel.
We will accept registration and Banquet forms until August 24th.  After August 24th  you can still attend the show and pay at the door for any classes and registration, but will not have custom name tags or other preregistration benefits.

You can download the Workshop schedule, instructor biographies, and workshop information here.

You can download the Workshop registration form here and register for workshops up until the workshop begins.

Here are some responses to questions:
• You can register for a workshop up until the workshop begins. You can send checks before the conference. At the conference, we will need cash payment.
• Your workshop seat is reserved when we receive your payment. We can’t hold a seat without payment.
• If a class is full or cancelled, we will contact you to discuss options. If you specify on the workshop registration form that these are the only workshops you are interested in, then we will refund for the workshops that are not full or cancelled.
• If you are sending in workshop registration forms for your family, we need a form for each student but you can pay for your family with one check.

On Friday there will be a limited space available "working" tour of the Hermann Oak Tannery.  We will rent a bus that can take 40 people to the tannery for this tour.  The cost will be $20 to cover the bus as there is not parking at the Tannery.  There are some steep steps to the top floor of the tannery to the drying rooms that are NOT handicap acessible as the Tannery has been in business in the same building since the 1880's.  You are welcome to take the tour and wait on the first or second floors if you can not make these stairs.  I would suggest that if you intend to take the tour to bring old shoes.  There is often tanning solution and water on the floor when you are on the first floor.  Tour will be first come/first paid list sign up.

Currently 40/40 spots filled for the tour.  Any other people that register will be put on a waiting list and if slots become available I will notify you.  If not your tour fee will be refunded at the show.  I have had some spots open up and everyone should have recieved an email stating you were off the waiting list at this time.

Hermann Oak has decided to provide lunch for those on the tour and will be giving leather in a size that will fit in suitcases to travel home to tour goers.

Competition is open to any Ifolg guild members.  Information on where to send items and preregistration is on the below forms.  Items can be placed into competition on Friday from 12-5 pm.  Juding will start at 7 pm.  Thank you to everyone who has responded to my email volunteering to be a judge or scribe.
